On April 24th, 2022,Encountering Zhejiang, ZUST "Chinese Bridge" online program witnessed a complete success.
This program lasts for two weeks, offering various kinds of courses, such asChinese language, The Economic Development of Zhejiang, Internet Industry in China, Technological Achievement of Modern China, A Day in the Life of Chinese, etc, thus to display China from multiple perspectives, and to unfold Hangzhou as a pioneer of smart city. Chinese classes of different levels are set based on students’ respective Chinese proficiency, together with meticulouslyprepared and dynamic culture courses, bring students an online platform for immersive learning and culture communication.
Upon the end of the program, students actively shared their achievements and comments. Panisara Chuencharoen, a 16-year-old student from Thailand, stated that she had developed strong interest in China, Chinese history and culture ever since her first encounter with the Chinese language. Happy to attend this program, she longed for the opportunity to continue her Chinese language study in China in the future, and wished to become a teacher of Chinese language to support cross-culture communication upon graduation.
The14-day academic feast online provided international students an opportunity to enjoy the charm of Chinese language, to learn the essence of Chinese culture, and to witnessed the development of China, enriching their study and life with the impressive Zhejiang online tour.
