The 4th “Chinese Bridge" Chinese Contest for Foreign Students in China sponsored by CCTV and Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters will be held. Chinese Bridge is a platform for foreign students to show their Chinese proficiency and share their Chinese learning experience.
1.Participants
Foreign students of ZUST who has a good command of Chinese and is able to show his talents in Chinese.
2. Contents
The competition is divided into preliminaries and finals. Nearly 100 well-known colleges and universities will participate in the event.
Preliminaries include a paper quiz and an interview. 100 contestants will have the chance to join the finals held in Beijing.
Contents of the paper quiz: 50 multiple choice questions including Chinese phonetics, characters, grammar, literature and culture knowledge etc.
Contents of the interview: focus on contestants’ Chinese proficiency including pronunciation and intonation, style of conversation and debate, insight of Chinese culture, personal talents etc.
Interview round 1:
（1）Self-introduction (be creative, 1 minute)
（2）Talent show(2 minutes)
（3）Answering the questions from judges
Interview round 2:
Group performance by undetermined candidates
(games, drama, debate)
3. Registration
Please come to the Intenational Education School Office 222 and get registration form from Ms. Sun Lan.

From May 10 to 15
5. Time of Competition
Preliminaries: from May 10 to 15 at Zhejiang University
Finals: from August 11 to 28 in Beijing
