On March 25th, international students took part in kites-making/flying activity in the campus square with groups of Chinese students. There were students from Britain, Myanmar, Bengal and Kazakhstan joined the DIY process and made different kinds of kites. Islam from Bengal was proud of his handmade kite which flied high in the sky. Tony from Britain said although his kite couldn’t manage to fly, he still enjoyed the process of making kites as well as communicating with Chinese friends. Teachers from the School of International Education came to the spot to interpret the culture of kites in China.
