There is an old Chinese saying “Suzhou and Hangzhou are two cities as beautiful and comfortable as the heaven.”The School of International Education organized a trip to Suzhou gardens and cowboy village on May. 4th, 2013.
As an ancient city, Suzhou has a profound history of 2500 years. International students visited Administrator Garden and Lion Grove Garden ,which are famous gardens in Suzhou. Students had a great time appreciating the delicate ancient buildings and tasting local snacks.
The other group visited Suzhou cowboy country club located in the island in the centre of the Taihu lake, which is surrounded by mountains, green water, beautiful scenery, amusement facilities and wild animals.
The cultural trip enriched international students perception of Chinese culture and enhanced mutual friendship among international students.
