On April 9th 2021, Dibu Dave Mbako, the founder and first president of the International Student Union from DR Congo, together with his former classmate convened a Zoom meeting for 2011 Class for Civil Engineering and alumni from DR Congo, Somalia, Mauritius, Myanmar, Zambia, Burundi, Turkmenistan, South Africa, etc. attended the event.
This is the first ever meeting after graduation in 2015. At the Zoom platform, alumni was thrilled and busy with greeting each other as well as sharing personal updates, experience on business development and industry insight into civil engineering. They also inquired and showed care about the situation of current ZUSTers with COVID-19, the development of International Student Union and orientation for upcoming ZUSTers.
ISAC advisor Ms Sun attended this event and warmly welcomed all ZUST alumni to gather on Zoom space. Besides brief introduction to ZUST updates and alumni projects to be rolled out, on behalf of ISAC office, Ms. Sun sincerely welcome outstanding alumni to join the Board of Directors of ZUST International Alumni Association and work together with ISAC to enhance global alumni connection.
Dibu Dave Mbako, the organizer for this e-meeting, commented that such meetings were important to keep in touch and to know how others are evolving. He encouraged his peers to continue to keep in touch through their chat group. He ultimately wished everyone success in their business.
Bruno Mugisha, another member of the 2011 Class for Civil Engineering, remarked that e-meeting is very good and he liked the idea of making them together again.
All the participants wished they would have more online meeting in the future to stay connected.

As everybody made the wish to meet again only this time with all the Class 2015. We would like to announce that another online reunion meeting is being prepared around late April for alumni graduated in Year 2015.
