Q: What are the conditions for students who are in China to apply for returning to school?

A:1) Students who are in Zhejiang province in the last 14 days must hold a green health code and green digital travel records before returning to school.

2) Students who come to Zhejiang from low-risk areas in other provinces in the last 14 days must hold negative nucleic acid test results in 48 hours (the 48-hour valid period is start from the time of releasing negative nucleic acid test results to entering school), health declaration form, a green health code and green digital travel records.

3) After the entire counties (cities, districts) where the medium-to-high-risk areas are located are converted to low-risk areas, students can return to school with negative nucleic acid test results in 48 hours, a green health code, and green digital travel records.

Note: All students returning to school must hold a green health code, green digital travel records, and a blue ZUST campus code.

Q: Under what circumstances are students who are in China deferred to return to school?

A:1) Those with confirmed/suspected cases or asymptomatic infections of new coronary pneumonia who have not obtained physical rehabilitation certificates from hospitals and disease control departments should be medically isolated for observation, and the observation period has not expired.

2) Those who have an epidemiological history of new coronary pneumonia or according to the requirements of territorial disease control, the isolation medical observation period has not expired.

3) Close contact with confirmed/suspected cases or asymptomatic infected persons in the last 14 days before returning to school.

4) Those who have lived/travelled abroad in the last 14 days before returning to school.

5) Those who have had close contact with persons returning from other countries in the past 14 days.

6) Those who have had fever, cough, fatigue, sore throat, diarrhea and other physical symptoms and signs in the last 14 days before returning to school, but have not recovered after treatment at hospital.

7) People living together have above situations or the health code is "red code" or "yellow code".

8) Those still in the county (city, district) or overseas where the medium-high risk area is located.

9) Nucleic acid and serological antibodies are unchecked.

10) Digital travel records are green, but you arrived or went through the places marking with “*” in the last 14 days, such as Shanghai*.

Note: Students who are deferred to return to school can only return to school after the conditions are met and approved by the school.

Q: After returning to school, who needs to be quarantined and observed in accordance with regulations?

A:After students register, if their place of departure is newly listed as a medium-high-risk area, students from or transferring to this area in the first 14 days from the date of listing as a medium-high-risk area will implement the "14+7" health management measures, that is, 14 days of concentration isolation and 7-day daily health monitoring.

Q: What should the students who are in China do before they return to school and register?

A:1) Complete daily health report. Complete the health report on time every day, record the health status and activity track, and report to the school honestly. Those who are still in high-risk areas should report to your advisor and establish a “one-to-one” communication mechanism.

2) Understand the registration process. If you have any problem, please contact your advisor.

3) Complete the registration application. After receiving the notice of registration from your advisor, students who live on campus and those who are in Zhejiang province in the last 14 days shall fill in the personal health declaration form (one person, one form) in the "Questionnaire Star" with the green health code, green digital travel records. After approval, the blue ZUST campus code will be generated before entering the school. Students who have returned to Zhejiang from low-risk areas in other provinces in the last 14 days should complete the application in Dingtalk, upload the negative nucleic acid test results in 48 hours, the blue ZUST campus code will be generated after approval before entering the school.

4) Before returning to school, learn epidemic prevention knowledge, vaccinate as soon as possible if you meet the requirements vaccination, and prepare relevant anti-epidemic materials (prepare sufficient masks, tableware, thermometers, disposable disinfectants, etc.).

Q: What should students do after returning to school?

A:1) Consciously abide by the local and school epidemic prevention and control regulations, and continue to do daily health monitoring. If you have fever or respiratory symptoms, including cough, sore throat, fatigue, diarrhea, etc., you should report to the advisor as soon as possible.

2) Consciously abide by the school gate management and control regulations, students must strictly implement the temperature detection and green code system when entering and exiting the school.

3) Adhere to non-essential no going out, no gatherings, and no visiting. Students who have returned to school are not allowed to leave Hangzhou without approval by ZUST.


Note: The epidemic prevention measures required by 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are adjusted dynamically according to the epidemic situation. Please pay attention to the latest notice in time for relevant requirements.

Q: When and how can current students who are out of China register?

A: All current students need to register online from Sept. 6-10, 2021. Thereafter you are required to submit your personal information, proof of fee payment, which your advisor will tell you how to do soon in your class Wechat group.

Q: If the current students can’t register on time, what will happen?

A: If students cannot register on time or provide complete materials, please apply for leave with your advisor before September 10. Those who fail to complete registration before Sept. 30, 2021will be deemed to have given up their study automatically, and the university will expel the students according to the procedures.

Q: What should students do if they have questions about make-up examinations, course selection and classes for the new semester?

A: For these specific questions, please ask the teacher in charge of teaching and academic affairs of your major school in time when the semester begins.

Q: I am a current student in China and my visa is about to expire, what should I do?

A: Students who are in China need to finish fee payment and contact their respective advisor two weeks in advance to prepare all relevant visa application materials.

Q: When will the scholarship results be announced?

A: ZUST students scholarship committee is working on it and hopefully the result will be announced by the end of September after official evaluation process. Please wait patiently.

Q: What is the deadline for fee payment?

A: According to the university regulations, students are required to pay one-year fees within one month after the new semester begins, which is September 30,2021.
