A number of localities across China have reported positive nucleic acid cases from Express Delivery. If we are receiving the express, who should we do? Let us learn step by step.
Step One: How to do Personal Protection?
1.Before receiving the mail or parcels, please wear medical masks and gloves. Reduce face-to-face communication with deliveryman. Do not touch your eyes, nose, and mouth before you clean your hands.
2.It is suggested that mail or the items received remain unused for a certain period of time.
3.Try to unwrap the outer packaging in a well-ventilated place outdoors, disinfect the outer packaging first, put the opened outer packaging into a garbage bag separately, then sterilize the outer surface of the garbage bag and dispose of it according to the domestic garbage classification.
4.Please disinfect the outer surface of the gloves in time, and perform hand hygiene in time after taking off the gloves after treatment. Follow the Seven-step Hand Washing Method to wash hands with soap and running water, or use disposable disinfectant to carefully clean the surface of the hands. Make sure to avoid touching your mouth, eyes and nose with unclean hands throughout the unpacking process!
Step Two: How to Handle the Items?
1. Disinfect the inner and outer surfaces of the items. Disinfecting wipes can also be used for packaging that is not suitable for spraying. Items that are not suitable for disinfection by the above methods can be placed in an outdoor sun exposure or ventilated place for a period of time.
2..Don't forget the unpacking tools and transfer tools. For example, trolleys, pens and mobile phones used in the signing process also need to be disinfected.
Step Three: How to Do Health Observation
1.After handling mail or parcels, practice a 14-day self-health observation. avoid crowds, wear masks when going out, and do frequent hand hygiene. Also follow the text message of the express reminder on epidemic prevention if you receive one.
2.After receiving international mail or parcels, if you experienc a fever, cough, sore throat, reduced sense of smell (taste), diarrhea, or other acute symptoms, please report to your advisor and go to a hospital immediately.
IMPORTANT NOTES
1.While the threat of COVID-19 is still present, avoid making unnecessary international mail orders or purchases.
2.If you do need to receive international mail or package, please report to your advisor two weeks in advance.
