In order to protect the safety of students and normal teaching order of the university, based on actual situation of ZUST, ten special provisions concerning students’ safety are formulated and all students are expected to obey them.

I  It is strictly prohibited to engage in any of the following activities during your study period at ZUST.

(I) To swim in the Ximi Lake or other wild ponds, lakes, river out of the campus.  

(II) To overlook or play on the top of the Buddha statue.

(III) To engage in activities in the place where the safety warning signs clearly prohibits.

(IV) To play alone in the mountains or climb the mountains after 6:00 pm.

(V) To use naked flame or smoking in the forests of the campus.

(VI) To play at the side of the river during the flood prevention period.

(VII) To enter the infrastructural construction sites in the campus without permission.

II   It is strictly prohibited to organize any collective outings without the permission of school.

III  It is strictly prohibited to leave school without permission or leave without saying anything.

IV  It is strictly prohibited to surf the Internet overnight or surf the net in the internet cafes outside the campus during the teaching time.

V   It is strictly prohibited to do the following things:

(I)  To pull wires, telephone lines, cable without permission

(II)  To use high-powered electrical appliances

(III)  To use candle or other forms of naked flame

(IV)  To take computers, television sets, washing machines into dormitory without permission

VI  It is strictly prohibited to rent and live off-campus; to stay the night out of the dorm or allow other people to stay the night in the dorm.

VII  It is strictly prohibited to play poker, mahjong, chess, games, watch entertainment television or other entertainment activities in the class time and morning and evening self-taught learning time(specific time: 7:30 am to 11:45am, 1: 30pm to 4:30pm, 6:30pm to 9:00pm)

VIII  It is strictly prohibited to drive motorcycles, fuel scooters and other motor vehicles in the campus; it is forbidden to carry others with electrical motorbikes or bikes.

IX  It is strictly prohibited to watch, copy, distribute illegal, erotic audio and video products, books, websites

X  It is strictly prohibited to participate in a variety of activities with gambling or superstition nature.

Anyone who violates those 10 special provisions shall be punished with School Reprimand, Warning, Serious Warning, Demerit, Probation or Expulsion based on the seriousness of the case.

The special provisions are interpreted by the Student Affairs Office and implemented from the date of its publication.
