Dear Graduates,
It is with immense pride and joy that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to each and every one of you on your graduation day. You have navigated the challenges of studying abroad, adapted to a new culture, and demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination.
As a Zuster, you have not only gained academic knowledge but also enriched your lives with diverse experiences and friendships that span the globe. Your time here has been a testament to your courage and adaptability, and these qualities will undoubtedly serve you well as you step into the next chapter of your lives.
Graduation is a significant milestone, but it is also a beginning. The world beyond here is filled with opportunities and challenges, and I am confident that you are well-prepared to meet them. As you move forward, I encourage you to remain curious and open-minded. The pursuit of knowledge does not end with graduation; it is a lifelong journey.
In closing, I want to express my deepest gratitude for choosing our university as the place to pursue your education. It has been an honor to have you. You have left an indelible mark on our campus, and you will always be a cherished member of our family.

学校前身由浙江大学和杭州市于1980年创办。2022年成为浙江省博士学位授予立项建设单位。2023年更名为浙江科技大学。经过40多年的建设，学校已发展成为一所国际化办学和区域特色鲜明的一流应用型省属本科高校。
学校现有杭州小和山、湖州安吉两个校区，占地面积2900余亩。设有17个二级学院和1个教学部；现有56个本科专业，6个学术型硕士学位授权一级学科，12个硕士专业学位授权点；有全日制本科生、研究生20000余名，来华留学生1500余名。
学校拥有一支具有国际化视野、学术水平高、师德师风高尚、梯队结构合理的优秀人才队伍。现有在编教职工1700余名，专任教师1360余名，其中高级职称教师近550名，具有博士学位教师占62%。拥有浙江省特级专家、国家高层次人才特殊支持计划、“长江学者和创新团队发展计划”创新团队带头人、国家百千万人才工程、国家有突出贡献的中青年专家等顶尖和国家级人才近30人次，省部级人才近120人次。
学校始终以服务国家战略和区域经济社会发展为己任，全力提升解决经济社会发展重大问题的能力。现有“十四五”省一流学科7个、ESI全球前1%学科1个，省重点实验室、省国际科技合作基地、教育部国别和区域研究中心等省部级以上科研创新平台和智库19个。拥有浙江省重点科技创新团队3个、省高校科技创新团队2个，与地方合作共建地方研究院以及科技成果转移转化中心22个。近年来获得省部级及以上科研成果奖40余项，其中国家科学技术奖2项、省科学技术奖一等奖9项。
长期以来，学校致力于建设“德国模式、中国特色”新型现代应用型大学，秉承“崇德、尚用、求真、创新”校训，坚持“学以致用、全面发展、注重创新、追求卓越”的育人理念，以打造“卓越工程师的摇篮”为目标，持续深化教育教学改革与实践，培养具有实践能力、创新精神、国际素养和社会责任的卓越应用创新型人才。学校是教育部首批实施“卓越工程师教育培养计划”高校、“国家级大学生创新创业训练计划”入选学校和国家“十四五”教育强国项目建设高校，是浙江省数字化制造产教融合联盟牵头单位。获批国家级、省部级实践教学平台39个，国家级、省级专业40余个，国家级、省级一流本科课程170余门，国家级、省部级教材（项目）80余部（项），11个专业通过中外专业认证。近两届获国家级教学成果奖3项、全国优秀教材奖1项、省级教学成果一等奖1项、省级教学成果二等奖6项。近5年获得国家级以上学科竞赛奖项2800余项。毕业生就业率及薪资水平位居浙江省高校前列，被教育部...
