2022 ZUST Application Bulletin for Undergraduate Programs

01 Eligibility

1)Applicant should be aged between 18 and 30.

2)Applicant should be in good health.

3)With a high school degree or above, fresh high school graduates will be issued a pre-graduation certificate by the school they are attending.

4)If you are Ethnic Chinese, you need to hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for more than four years (inclusive), and have proof of actual residence in a foreign country abroad for at least two years or more in within the  past most recent four years (by as of April 30 of the enrollment year) ( Living abroad for 9 months residence in a foreign country is calculated as one a full year).

5)Applicant should have no criminal record and no drug addiction history; Applicant should be willing to abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and relevant school regulations.

6)Language proficiency: Applicants for English-taught programs must provide IELTS, TOEFL or other English proficiency certificates or pass the Zhejiang University of Science and Technology Entrance English Test. IELTS scores must reach 5.5 points or above, TOEFL iBT scores must reach 80 points or above, applicants for Chinese-taught programs must provide HSK4 certificate, at least 180 points.

05 Documents Required

1)Application form (Applicants must be done in the application system : http://isam.zust.edu.cn);

2)Scanned copy of passport, Scanned copies of all visa pages in China (applicants in China must provide);

3)The original or notarized electronic scanned copy of the high school graduation certificate (in Chinese or English); fresh high school graduates shall be issued a pre-graduation certificate by their school, and the high school graduation certificate must be submitted when students register;

4)Original or notarized electronic scanned copy of all transcripts of all courses in high school (in Chinese or English);


5)Students whose native language is not English are required to provide proof of English proficiency, such as IELTS, TOEFL or other English proficiency certificates, or pass the entrance English test of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (for English-taught undergraduate students);

6)HSK certificate (Students applying for Chinese-taught undergraduate majors in science, engineering, economics, management, and art must have a score of 180 or above in HSK; students applying for Chinese-taught undergraduate majors in literature and education need to reach HSK4 195 points and above);

7)Certificate of No Criminal Record; A statement of no drug addiction history;

8)Application fee payment voucher (RMB 400 or USD 60);

9)Transfer letter with class attendance for students already studying in other universities in China;

10)Statement of Financial Support (Bank statement to prove that the applicant has sufficient fund to afford his or her tuition, accommodation and living expenses in China);

11)Valid Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
