The Third Journey of Discovery in Zhejiang Activitiesas well as the First Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship Awarding Ceremony was held in Yuquan Campus of Zhejiang Uiversity on December 18th. International students from more than 20 universities and colleges in Zhejiang attended the ceremony. On behalf of our university, international students from Ghana, Zambia and Kyrghizstan performed an impressive street dance combined with Chinese and foreign culture element zamby jakoz in the ceremony, which brought down the house. Steffen Laussmann from Germany received the Provincial Government Scholarship from provincial leaders on the stage on behalf of our school.
Besides, 4 students’ representatives of our university were invited to the activities named Hundreds of International Students Visiting International Students Education Base of Zhejiang Province. Along with students from other universities of Zhejiang, they visited the Liangzhu Culture Museum, the International Students Education Base---Yuyao Middle School, the Hemudu Ancient Ruined Site Museum and the modern internationalized port-Ningbo Beilun Port.
Through this series of activities, international students really had a better understanding of the ancient Chinese culture, witnessed the fast development of Chinese society and economy and enjoyed themselves a lot.
