With strong support from the Headquarter of Confucius Institute and ZUST, the First Summer Camp of the Confucius Institute of Babes-Bolyai University of Romania (3 weeks) came to a successful conclusion on July 28th, 2010. Director of International Office Ms. Xu Liqin and Dean of the Confucius Institute Ms. Feng Shaozhong attended the closing ceremony.

During the Summer Camp, apart from regular Chinese language courses, students from the Confucius Institute also experienced those culture courses like Chinese Tachi, Chinese painting, Chinese seal-cutting, Chinese knot, Chinese cooking, Chinese pottery-making, Chinese tea-ceremony and so on. ZUST also arranged the trip to Shanghai, West Lake, Song Dynasty Town and Hefang History and Culture Street, as well as visit to China Tea Museum, China Silk Museum and Zhejiang Provincial Museum. Students all marveled at the ancient yet modern Chinese culture, rapid developing economy and beautiful environment of Hangzhou and ZUST.

We believe that the students of Confucius Institute will introduce the modernized China and beautiful Hangzhou to the Romanian people. The cooperation between University of Babes-Bolyai and ZUST will reach a new stage.
