The Spring Semester Opening Ceremony as well as the Scholarship Awarding Ceremony for International students was held on February 24, 2011. 7 students from Colombia, Congo and Myanmar were awarded Excellent New Student Scholarship of ZUST. 3 students from Russia and Mogolia were awarded HSK Winner Scholarship of ZUST, thanks to their excellent performance in the HSK test.

ZUST is the receiving institute of Confucius Institute Scholarship and Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship for International Student. Besides, in order to attract excellent international students, ZUST offers different kinds of scholarships, such as Scholarship for Excellent New Students of ZUST, Scholarship for Excellent Undergraduate of ZUST, HSK Winner Scholarship of ZUST and Specialized Scholarships of ZUST.
