When the squares of each academy reached the field, everybody looked very excited and couldn't wait for the competition to start. When overseas students passed platform, they performances lion dance which lighted the atmosphere of the scene, showing their deep love for China.
Eagle belong to the blue sky, white water belong to the sea, while our athletes are belong to the grass. All the participants were getting ready, warming up on the field. Some were kicking their legs, some sitting on the floor stretching their hands. In the men’s 100 meters competition on the morning of 24th, Rodney, Joseph Mpyana,Yan, who were like hold swords racing on the track and struggling for the goal. They each won the third, the fifth and the sixth good results. In the men's 1500 meters competitions, Sharmake met the expectations of all of us and won the fifth rank. At that moment, the players each fought without weakness, rubbing their hands, finally, Kezia Armar won the fifth gratifying achievements at the shout put game. In the men’s 4*100 meters and 4*400 meters relay race, the international students linked well with their teammates and showed their group spirit completely, wining the second and the sixth respectively. Touched, your spirit of sport courage.
At 8 am of 25th, when the race began, everyone cheered as loudly as possible. At the starting line, the athletes were coming into play, after the whistling, all the athletes acted like horses,among them,Xavi,Rodney,Joseph Mpyana and Yan each took the second,the fourth,the sixth and the seventh results in men’s 200 meters competition.Followed by the women’s 200 meters competition,Isabel,who entered the final race,won the second place which showed her indomitable spirit of sports.800 meters and 5000 meters are the test project of physical strength and stamina,although long-distance running was not as exciting as sprint,definitly it was more moving than sprint.The athletes who participate in these competition truly reflected the hard work and the sports spirit of never yielding.To our delight,Ahmed Abdi Yasin won the seventh in men’s 800 meters,Sharmake won the fourth in men’s 5000 meters,Anna Liulaia won the eighth in women’s 5000 meters.They brought us their spirit more than grades.We were all screaming our throats out and yelling as crazy as we could when witnessing the athletes received the certificate of merit from the teacher.
Undoubtedly,sport athletes,we have seen ,through the sweat of their crystal, not only the confidence that they fight for winning,but also the glory of the teamwork. The 32nd Track and Field Sport Meeting of ZUST successfully closed in the afternoon of Oct.25th ,2013.
