Recently the 5th China "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was successfully held. After strict selection and fierce competition, ZUST international student Guindo Mahamed Lamine’s team won the Bronze Award of International Track in the national competition with their project named Greengrocery, supervised by ZUST professors, Mr. Zhou Yang and Ms. Zhao Yun. Besides, ZUST international students also achieved excellent results with two silver awards and eight bronze awards in the Zhejiang provincial competition.
ZUST is always insisting on operating with an open door to international students, attaching importance to the development of students’ innovative and practical abilities. ISAC highly valued the "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, encouraged, organized 20 teams to participate in the competition and achieved a good result, under the support of the Teaching Affairs Office, School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and School of Information and Electronic Engineering.
The competition is sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the Central Committee of the Youth League, etc., and organized by Zhejiang University and Hangzhou Municipal Government. There are 3342 colleges and universities, and 4,750,000 college students from 1,090,000 projects participating in the competition. Among them, more than 6,000 international students with 1,492 projects from over 120 countries registered in the international track. The scale and influence reaches the highest level in history.
