Dear students,

As you may have learn from the news, 342 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been reported in Zhejiang province recently, with 24 cases reported in Hangzhou, 64 cases reported in Ningbo and 254 cases reported in Shaoxing respectively. For the sake of students safety, ZUST would like to remind students of the following issues.

1.Please STAY in Hangzhou and reduce unnecessary visits or trips as much as possible. For students who need to go outside Hangzhou, please ask for leave permit from your advisor IN ADVANCE with VALID REASON and complete the application procedure in Dingtalk. Leaving Hangzhou without approval will be deemed as a severe violation of ZUST regulations and hence a ZUST warning for getting dispelled will be issued accordingly. Students receiving 3 warnings will be expelled from ZUST.

2.Students who plan to return to Hangzhou need apply from your advisor IN ADVANCE and complete the application procedure in Dingtalk too. A COVID-19 test(within 48 hours) should be provided in the application procedure. If there are other epidemic prevention and control emergency policies in the local places, students shall be implemented according to the local policy.

3.A warning or more serious punishment will be given to students who report fake information, conceal information, provide fake daily health report information or disobey the administrative requirements of the school or territory for epidemic prevention.

4.Proper personal protection measures like wearing a mask in public, washing hands frequently, reducing unnecessary gatherings and avoiding visiting crowded places should be taken.
