Holidays

International students enjoy the same holidays as Chinese students. The university does not schedule recess for foreign holidays.

The academic calendar lists all school holidays. The International Office gives information on holiday schedules on its bulletin board in advance of the holidays.

Besides winter break and summer break, prominent Chinese holidays include:

January 1 Yuan Dan (New Year)

April 5 Tomb-sweeping Festival

May 1 Labor’s Day
